roots dont often get enough attention when flowers are the big draw.
growers, (...after you've killed 1000) like some of us have graduated into, appreciate a good root system just as much as wonderful flower ![Smile](https://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/smile.gif)

I had to post because I saw roots that looked too good to not memorialize! My first thought was, "oh now THAT belongs on that giant-a$$ thread"

I hope you all like my modest contribution. This Prosthechea sp. just doesnt like its pot! Its surprising to me that its putting out so many considering I'm just growing in an apartment, no humidifier or greenhouse.

I have a couple orchids I've thought about posting here, but here's one of my more crazy ones...
Dendrobium Bullenianum. I was told it likes to grow in baskets, well, it does... Sort of...
As you can see it's packed the small basket it was put into a long time ago and they just keep going. I was told this orchid doesn't like to dry out during periods of growth, well, mine never dries out really ever. It's so thirsty that I sit a tray of water underneath the basket put wicks from the tray into the pot because I got tired of constantly watering it.
It's randomly in flower throughout the year and happenned to be this week on one of it's earliest growths. Took a shot of those as well.
