Looks like a Cym back bulb to me, with a new growth sprouting.

Looks like Grammatophyllum to me. Why do you think its Cymbidium or Catasetum?

Well, all the genera mentioned are Cymbidiums anyway. But I think Grammatophyllum leaves also fall off on their own, don't they? That was why I guessed Cymbidium. Somebody had to cut the leaves off this one.
