yeah I have tried it out with my betta bowl that is how I did not as of yet kill my stanhopea (something something something) Was I stuck it in there to rehab when I had flask babies and wa la. I got serious growth. Same on my single phulb oncid. That has no leaves. I have 2 large growths on it now close to around 3 inches plus coming off the sides of it.

first of all absolutely gorgeous and healthy plant! Very interesting orchid, i did read before it grows in symbiotic with ants, did not know till reading the other member thread that ants provide acid needed for better growth, and protect the plant, I did read that good mix is bark and sphagnum which gives little acidity somehow, but I love the idea of lemon juice in water! Will definitely try this!

Heres what I did w what I could find today.
I have
1. gramm stapelflorum in there rehabbing
2. Oncid twinkles in spike that are trying to blast
1. Paph godefroyea
1. Stanhopea alliance
1. Vanda
1. Butterwart
1. Den. Antennatum
And I think that is it. I sealed it off w plastic wrap on the top and have a light light layer of water on the bottom (distilled). I punched 2 holes in the top for air flow.
And have a 75 watt plant bulb w dome set up about 3 ft higher up for light and heat.

Hey Kindrag, I've got it! Put a large fish pond in your green house. You can grow catfish for the table as well as orchids. Maybe frogs as well! Turtles. Goldfish!

Love the enthusiasm. But....the issue is my greenhouse is made of plastic....and.....creatures would be shredding it to get to the fish and turtles....

Update: it died. It had a fungus issue that no matter what I fought it with could not get rid of it. I think its defenses were already on the low side due to it getting frozen during shipping.
