That media is allowed to dry out right? Looks VERY wet and not just damp.

Just watered/fed sorry should have stated that. Its actually sitting on my vanity post watering. It gets almost completely dried before it gets re watered. With the temps here that equals... every 2 days or so. With a flush done after each feeding the next watering.

Also gave it a bit of seaweed these are my 5 week old chids. So the moss also seems to take on the dark color of the seaweed brand I use.

How many times have you given your plants seaweed? I know many people say that hormone treatments for plants this young are bad.
Even adult plants shouldn't get it more than 1x every 2 weeks.

This is the 2nd time 2 weeks apart. About .25 tsp to 2 gallons of water. I have been told by others that they use theirs weakly weekly....so idk. I just wantes to see if it will give it a continued boost. I used the magical last week since my 2nd flasked set have issues...

Hmmmm...Ray says 1x every 2 weeks tops! Any more and the plants build up a tolerance to the hormones that promote root growth, thus shutting down the whole root growing system.
The pics of the little ones you have left look pretty healthy, so I think they have a pretty good shot of surviving.

These first sets are amazing. I sent a set to.my friend as well and even that set is trucking and thriving. I did everything the exact same way the 2nd round and got crap. Sterilized utensils I used gloves fresh moss...I felt these were not in great shape thougg when I pulled them out of the jug though. So idk. But my first set is absolutely amazing and even my experiments I did with the tiny ones different growing environment neglect etc...are growing...so I got a super set the first round lol.

O and this is just my one pot I have like 9 1 inch pots these are my largest ones moved into a spacier compot. I got about a total of 50-75 of the first batch still growing. And....15 of the second batch. Got 2 more coming in this week so lets see if I get better luck.

I got a table moved in there by the *nursary* for the bigger ones and the babies will be in a betra bowl for the 1st week to adjust being de flasked then slowly moved to the covered window sill w medium humidity to harden off for a few weeks then moved outwards with the larger ones. Lol one set is of my avatar pic says 25 per flask the other is catasetum hybrids (personal favorite of mine) with 15-45 but I am sure there will not be that many viable in each batch.

Okay here they all are. The ones in the very middle w tags sticking out are seedlings I bought. The ones closest to the catasetums/Dove orchid belong to my 2nd flask batch aka the rot batch.
Farthest from catasetum/dove orchid are my original de flasked babies and all their varous forms.
