I water the same as Ray, everything gets wet and the plants love to get wet. It helps to water early in the day so there are not pools of water in the crowns of various plants. This is much more of a problem in cool temperatures than warm. In nature, many orchids are rained on during the evening and while pretty cold. A good healthy breeze also helps.....
