A new contender (for me, anyway) - Chroniochilus virescens
I mentioned Rhyncholaelia digbyana way back in this thread as my favorite orchid fragrance (and indeed tied with gardenia for favorite fragrance in the plant kingdom), and that's still true.
But I was very impressed when our first Chroniochilus virescens flower opened a few weeks ago. Small plant, small (1-2 cm) flower, but one flower perfumed the entire greenhouse, not cloying or overpowering at all but really wonderful.
For those with lower light and/or small growing spaces, I give this 2 green thumbs up.
