If you don't mind waiting a while for a bloom, I would suggest getting it from "Ruben In Orchids", in S. Florida. They give you 3-4 very healthy seedlings in a flask, for only $20. I bought one at the WOC, last week! I have previously paid $150 for 5 plants that didn't even add up to to what I got from them....Here's a link to the page:Pocket Size Flask List for 19 WOC. I would suggest some type of terrarium, they don't do well outside.... unless you live in a swamp or a rainforest. Their natural habitat is in the Everglades, about 4-5 feet above the water. It has no foliage to store water in, so it has to remain in 90%+ humidity....but not remain wet. I just finished running CO2 to mine, it maintains about 78-80 degrees with 95% humidity. I just put a fish pump blowing air through a diffuser stone, buried beneath the rocks. They seem to be loving it. I put a little nutrients in R/O water, and keep the level 1-2" below the rocks....never have to feed it. Here's some pics, these are the plants that were in the flask:

HOw about putting your ghost orchid inside a glass jar with the lid off. You might have better luck. Why not contact the AOS and ask them as you are both in Florida.

Happy Growing!
