Question Bulbophyllum singaporeanum

Hello out there. Does anyone grow Bulbophyllums; specifically B. singaporeanum? If so, is it potted in sphagnum? mounted on a cork oak branch? with or without sphagnum between the roots and the branch OR applied OVER the roots with the roots directly contacting the bark? or TreeFern? Tree Fern plaque or tree fern post?

Please advise. Many thanks!

A lot of people here grow Bulbos. Many will have different methods of growing depending on what their growing conditions are and how they're accustomed to growing.

I myself have some Bulbos, but not Bulb. singaporeanum. I have grown a related Bulbo called Bulbophyllum rufilabrum. These were easy to grow. I had them mounted onto cork with some moss covering the roots. I recommend not over-doing it with the moss though. Use just enough moss to cover the roots. As the plant grows, just add more moss to where the new growths are and tie them down.

Grow in shade to bright shade in moist conditions, allowing a slight drying out period before watering again. Should be grown intermediate to warm.

I forgot to mention, Bulbophyllum singaporeanum and Bulbophyllum rufilabrum are both Bulbophyllums in the Careyanum section. These include:

Bulb. cupreum
Bulb. careyanum
Bulb. rufilabris
