I've seen how Spathoglottis plicata grow in the wild. They grow in between rock crevices in constantly moist places in shade, and intermediate conditions (55 F - 90 F), in moderate to high humidity (60% - 90%).
Just to give you an idea of how wet...
The place where I saw this one particular group of Spathoglottis plicata at was at the base of a collapsed waterfall where the water was still going through the rocks where the orchids were growing. I slipped on the wet rocks and almost fell.
