I want to add Sc Crystelle Smith 'BK Orchids' The flowers themselves don't last very long, but it blooms on every new growth once the plant itself matures.

The one I have took a quick break after it last bloomed at the end of June, probably because I repotted it. It now has two budded spikes, six growths in sheath, and more on the way. What really nice about this plant is that it is a mini. I like to call it the energizer bunny of the catt world. It keeps going and going....

Snowden, I also have Sc Crystelle Smith 'B K Orchids' from Marble Branch Farms. It is not that vigorous. What kind of potting mix do you have your plant growing in? Do you keep it on the moist side or let it dry out completely like a standard cat?

hmmmm cant remember what all the post are, but you can also try some of the Phrag besseae hybrids. Mnay of the larger growing ones produce mutibranched spikes that continually bloom one flower per tip a month for many many months. Some have been known to bloom for two or more years, they just keep branching and budding.

It's potted in plain bark. It's watered freely late spring through summer, then only once or twice a week the rest of the year. It gets a fairly balanced fert - again - late spring through summer, then I switch to a bloom booster late summer through fall and no fert during the winter. It's also given as much light as it can take - to the point where the leaves are tinged in purple. I've attached a picture.

I have a Diacattleya Chantilly Lace 'Sprinkles' That has been blooming intermittenly for the last year. It blooms about every two months. Along with my Encyclia cochleata ('John' x self) which has been in constant bloom since March:biggrin:

Well, some people say you should not mention this one (because, of course, it goes without saying) Encyclia/Prosthechea/Panisea cochleata - mine has been blooming continuously since June 2003...
Hwra Lava Burst - if it doesn't have flowers, it has buds.
Ascda Pine Rivers - blooms and buds, all the time.

I am glad to hear that Den oligophyllum is a good bloomer, cos I went on a trip with my orchid club 2 weeks ago and bought this little one just on the off chance cos I had never heard of it before. It was $12.00 but is a very immature seedling so I hope it survives. I sometimes lose my tiddlers as I don't have the time to pamper them enough. I did some research and I thought the flower looks rather attractive so I am excited. :drool:

Does your have any special treatment? Does it live outside?
