I broke one of the new growths off a Sophronitis brevipedunculata. It has 2 now growing off the broken lead. The whole lead didnt break just the top of it. Leaf will still form and look funny but IMO it didnt take a full break to initiate the response.

also knocked a bud off the Cattleya walkeriana and unfortunately in this case, its not going to grow back and give me 2 flowers now
