Posting new topic hindered by tags error

Whenever I post a new topic, I like to preview and revise it a couple of times before I post.

Lately, upon the second preview, i get the following message:

The following errors occurred with your submission:

The number of tags you tried to add to this thread exceeded the maximum number of tags by 3.

The board is automatically adding tags to my posts, but it is adding too many, so that I have to go down and delete some (or all) of them, otherwise I cannot post the topic.

There seem to be lots of little glitches with the site since the update...and it is affecting my orchidboard experience...

I've noticed that too and it is quite annoying considering it pulls random words that have no relevance out of context... I'm also still unable to unlike posts that I've accidentally liked...

A glitch I have noticed is that when you get a "like" to a post, the link back to your post (or thread) does not work. It is sometimes nice to see if someone that liked your post also added to the discussion.

Now that I have a couple likes to the above post, I can post that the error message I get is "Sorry, you have reached an invalid page." Maybe this will help someone troubleshoot the problem?

I do see that all (?) threads now seem to have tags associated with them (and I know I didn't add any to mine!), and some have a lot of them ... But I haven't had problems posting at all ...

I guess we need to get Marty to look into this.

I didn't have problems posting either. Just looking at a link back to a comment someone 'liked'. I thought Marty knew about the link problem, but maybe not.

I've contacted Marty and he's fiddled with some settings. See how you go with the tags now.

The first time I previewed a new topic before posting, it was fine. Then I typed some more and got this:

1. The number of tags you tried to add to this thread exceeded the maximum number of tags by 12.

It just depends on how many words is in your post. Every time you preview it, more are added, taking you over the limit.

Btw, still unable to post to member blogs. I really liked that feature, even though not many use it.

The member blogs were disabled purposefully. They were a source of a lot of spam which went un-noticed and so Marty disabled them.

I will go back to him about the tags.
