Gallery Space
Can you regain any gallery space by deleting old photos?
I deleted about 10 old pics thinking it woud give me more space because it cautioned me when they were gone, they were gone. Doesn't seem to have given me any more space.

Hmm, I would have expected it to as well.
It's possibly the deletion takes a while to take affect on your quota, I've come accross that on other databases I've worked with. In which case you may find you have more space the day after deleting them or something.
I'm not sure as I've not used my gallery but I'll try and find out.

Hi Carol,
I can't answer your question, but it will save space if you resize your photos before posting them. Medium is usually sufficient for me. Small is o.k. but rather difficult to see and large is good when you want viewers to appreciate detail.

I did some sample clicks on your gallery photos and if you open them and click them again they're get very large. To compare I clicked on one of my "medium" sized photos, then clicked again and there wasn't much difference in size. Your pictures seemed to have been resized to "large". Medium or small will take up much less space. I think it's too late to change the size of your posted photos but future downsizing would help to conserve space. I believe a paid subscriber perc is more photo space.

Where are you making a choice of small, medium or large? Mine are resized before bringing them over from Picasa3.

I've loaded a few this morning and they seem to go fine, maybe space is there but chart doesn't reflex it.
