Where are you going for your vacation? I assumed from the problem you might be going away for a few days...perhaps I misunderstood.

I won't go on vacations. I'll go under cirurgy and as far as I know I'll be away for at least a week/10 days.

Thank you!

I'll let you know. But it's booked for 19 Jun, so I still have time to give a watering trainning to my neighbour.

Because the lower margins of the plastic are open this will allow the air inside to be replaced by cooler air.
Made some openings at the top sides to let warm air get out. Managed to get inside 27ºC (80,6 F) which is ok and HR=50% which is also ok.

Today was a relatively cool day with max temp 77 outside and not that much sun so I'm expecting those hot clear days to see the values I can get.

Althoug I managed to reduce day temps inside "the container", I decided to put my Zygo outside near my cymbs. Obviously I can't let it outside during the day, at least in summer, so I'll put it out for the night.
The temp drop of 16 to 18 F will do it good, as well as the breeze, which is something I can't have inside "the container".

I've put in my signature a detailed meteo data in case anyone find it useful.

I'm late to the low humidity party, but will add my 2 cents on what has worked for me in my indoor growing environment. I use the repotme oxygen core dual pots, and have them placed in cheap, clear plastic saucers that are just wide enough for each individual pot to sit in. I just make sure there is water in the bottom of the saucer as it does evaporate throughout the week. Kind of the same idea as a "tray with pebbles filled with water" only you can see the proof in my pics that there is a nice little humid micro climate. The pic is of my Dendrobium Angel Kisses that hasn't been watered in a week.
