Clear plastic sheeting sold for landscaping is thicker, less fragile and easier to handle, but does not cling to itself.

On the sides and back this plastic foil for now it's ok.
Main issue is the front. Next weekend, with more time, I'll try to find something better.

The hardware store or even a dry cleaner should have something suitable. Here Lowe's has visqueen but, I don't know if you have them in your part of the world.

We have that under a different name.
The problem is that I just need a sq meter, not 50 mts of it.

I discovered I must reduce the humidity inside.
When I got home this afternoon HR was 49%. Sprayed with water inside and now, with temp drop is 92% with temp around 24ºC (75,2 F).
I know zigos and oncidiums love humidity but these values are probably too high, don't you think?

As expected, inside the cabinet, during the day HR drop to low 70's % but temp increased to 30ºC (86 F). I think this is too hot so I'll have to open a small window on the top side to let warm air to get out. Because the lower margins of the plastic are open this will allow the air inside to be replaced by cooler air.

If needed, tomorrow during the day I could use that window to mist.

My friends, this is pure engineering supported by heat transfer and thermodynamics...as well as a dose of crazyness (at home anyone say it but I know they are thinking about it).

Can you put a small fan in the bottom to blow the air from a bottom vent gently out a top vent?

That's something I've thought about but I'll try the natural way first. Probably I'll end up dealing with issues related with excessive humidity + poor airflow.
Until then I'll try the convective air flow solution.
