They are blowing right to left. Theres a nice gentle movement over the whole of each shelf now

I wouldn't worry about plants being too close... in fact i see far too much space between them! I would pack mini's in between the taller ones in fact... as long as leaves aren't touching, in my opinion, it's all about the ingenuity of packing them all in... LOL Besides with the fans, even more so not to worry... I find the humidity they provide themselves in group is a good kind of humidity... course I say this but it can be very dry here as compared to what I imagine the south coast of england to be... oh and it's not like orchids are the most vigorous growing in the plant kingdom...

I would 2nd... your plants look super duper healthy! do the bulbo's bloom for you on the windowsill?

I've read orchids in greenhouses should be spaced so a cat could walk between them without knocking over pots. I think this relates to keeping plants away from each other in a very humid environment so diseases do not spread from plant to plant. It may also be due to the owner not being able to keep the cat off the benches.

In a home the humidity is not usually so high as in a greenhouse. In my growing space I have no problems with fungal disease at all. My relative humidity is around 80% frequently, but it also drops to the 40%-60% range almost every day. A cat would not be able to make its way through my sunroom without knocking over lots of pots.

Just took a peek at the thermometer/hygrometer and its 66° and 83% humidity but that is the kitchen. Outside its 26° and an RH of 91%. So it's warm and damp inside and cold and damp outside!

Not as yet. As I understand in Bulbophyllum EAB flowers from new pseudobulbs? In which case I've got 5 of them and two new rhizomes shooting so maybe there'll be some flowers in my future......
