Yikes, I am FAR too anxious to trust suction cups to hold my precious orchids, especially if there is a ledge underneath with more orchids.

Thanks all for the kind words! I have added more space since these pics... planning on going to the Mass. Orchid Society show in a month. I doubt I will come back empty handed and I need more room!

I had been very anxious, but no problems so far. One I have had up since mid-may, the others since August. They seem to be holding just fine. Of course, I don't even approach the weight limit. I pretty much only use plastic pots and, even with LECA, those on these shelves are pretty light compared to some other orchids I have in traditional clay pots.

They do have very heavy duty suction cups. I have pulled down more than their weight limit and have yet had them release. The only way I can get them off my windows is to use a butter knife or flat-head screw driver!

Of course, everything is fine until it isn't! Only time will tell
