My orchid is inside my bathroom in between 2 handwashing basins. I figured that "Windowsill" came closest to describing where it is being grown.

Hi White Rabbit,

My orchid is about 1 m away from the bathroom window.

Cheers,
Andrew

I have a question about growing my Paphiopedilum orchid in my bathroom.

I am in Sydney (Australia), so Spring is just beginning now. Outdoors, the nights are still quite cold (down to 5 degrees Celsius or 41 degrees Fahrenheit), so I am keeping the bathroom window closed at night.

During the daytime, however, the temperature outdoors can rise to around 22 degrees Celsius (72 degrees Fahrenheit). Should I open my bathroom window for a few hours when it is warm outside?

Thanks,
Andrew
