Default Oncidiums DIY shelf's

I have limited place as i live in a Apartment .I seen glass shelf's for 2 foot window it was like $125. Besides that outrageous price the shelf's where to close to each other for my oncidiums. So I made them my self. Had a drill had some 5/8 3/4" screws and bolts my husbands fishing line . All I had to buy was Clear Acrylic Sheet and cuter for that. I went to Lowes and as they cut for customers they had some left over .SO they sold it to me for like 6 bucks. and this is what i got. ))) I suspended this from a extra curtain rod i had laying around. These are not heavy pots. Will be doing this on my other windows. The total cost besides the stuff i had was like $11.46 with tax . And have more left over to make 2 more windows. Suggestions are welcome ))

Great Idea! Do you have any trouble with them swinging too much? I had a similar idea but was afraid they would swing and fall down.

I was thinking about that also for my catt and stan but, in my south window, they take full sun most of the day.
Thinking about the genera I'm growing, it could be used in my north window.
