At one point
many years ago the two species were in fact considered the same, with
bellina being a described variety of
violacea. Glossing over the fact that this has created a huge mess (I or someone else can explain if you're interested in the long story), I think it's safe to say that you have a
bellina.
Also, the
amboinensis x
gigantea cross you bought is registered as David Lim.
