My new set up

I live in a NYC apt with one good south facing window. As my collection grew, I got creative with how to manage maximum light for some of the higher light plants by hanging them up with wires on a shower rod and crowding up my dining table.

Well, thats all over now! I have been eyeing these shelves for some time and finally decided to splurge! Just want to share. Having had them for about a month I am LOVING it! The height is easily adjustable and I had some space between the shelves & window so i repurposed the shower rod to discretely hang my vanda on the bottom left for the winter season. The vendor is extremely accommodating and basically customized it to fit my measurements. I'm a happy girl.

Thanks~! The shelves come in 2 - 4 shelves options. Would have done 3 shelves side by side but my kitty has been complaining about all my plants taking up the sill so it was a compromise.

Greetings! Just another idea for ya. In one south window in my kitchen I have a tension rod that's usually used to hang curtains but instead I put my hanging potted orchids on it and the ones that need it warmer and sunnier in the winter seem to do well. Looks like you could squeeze some between the shelves if you need more growing room ! Good job!

Hehe! The vanda on the bottom is hanging on a shower tension rod! I have 2 dendrobiums outside cooling atm so im saving room for when they come inside but hmmm theres always room for some more....
