It's true about 'blue' orchids are not really blue (more like different shades of grey lavender) except for a few species, like the Cleisocentron gokungsii below that has true blue tones.
Other species that have true blue pigments are Vanda coerulescence and Dendrobium leukocyanum.
Most other 'blue' orchids like Dendrobium victoria-reginae, Vanda coerulea, and various coerulea cattleya varieties are in shades of grey lavender and not visually blue.
