I keep waiting for it to stop flowering to repot but when it got down to it's last flower the new spike appeared and the old one sprouted more buds. At present has 4 large white blooms and 3 buds on one stem and another spike with at least 5 buds. Foiled again!
I had that happen with an orchid as well. It was going on two years without a repotting and I was concerned since it was in moss, but it kept sending up leaves and spikes. Finally, when all the flowers had wilted and a new spike was just starting to form, I re-potted the guy.

I grow my orchids in front of a north facing sliding glass doors. One rack is on wheels so I can actually use the door. I open the door for fresh air for the plants. I add extra lights (Walmart grow lights tied up under shelf) since it is a north view. I have a shear curtain for my phals as it is too much for them without it. Picture taken towards end of day.
