Default December Update

These days are gray, so I hooked up a light (400-watt HPS ballast running a MH conversion bulb, 11 hrs on/13 hrs off) for the Vandas.

They are starting to bloom nicely

Oncidium Speckled Spire 'Whisp' is looking great and smelling very sweet in the mornings.

And for some reason, this mounted rescue Phal with two spikes growing in opposite directions has me very excited

More updates as the show unfolds...

Such a beautiful space you have. Those divergent phal spikes seem to be wanting the window light on either side! The new light looks nice and small but powerful.Happy Holidays!

Marvelous! Those vandas are the greatest shade of blue! Just right to brighten a gray day!

Wow!! That vanda is banging! Is that just one plant with a bunch of keikis? I wanna mount one of my phals too in the future i think they look nice and would do better mounted cause they usually grow sideways instead of upright.

Woaaahhh... Hold on a second. You're going to have to explain that vanda, because I'm having a hard time trying to work out what I'm looking at; is that one plant with keikis? Or is it multiple plants all potted together?
