Adams Deluxe Garden Planter

I've been shopping around for some additional garden planters/boxes for a while now. I've read a lot of reviews on Amazon for different types including wood, metal and plastic/resin materials. I finally decided on purchasing two of these Adams Deluxe Garden Planters. The planter box itself is very roomy, about 33.5" long, 13" wide and 5.25" depth. The top edge of the planter stand is 33.5" tall, or about kitchen counter height.

I am very pleased with this product and now I think I will purchase at least two more in the sage green color. I actually found my first two, in earth brown, for the best price at Wayfair dot com. There's a rebate which brings the price down significantly if you're a first time buyer.

The difference between regular and deluxe model is the addition of a lower shelf on the deluxe planter stand. This planter box does offer a single drainage opening with a plug if you don't want the water to drain out. I'm going to use at least one of these as an orchid garden, so I'll build a layer of volcanic lava rock onto the bottom for more humidity and close up the drain opening.

Here's an image of the deluxe garden planter in earth brown. It's actually a much more uniform and warm color of brown than depicted here. The planters also come in white, sage green and desert clay.

That looks very handy! I like the idea of being able to drain it. Are they affordable?
