This is a little update on my orchids in my windows. Some are not exactly sitting on the windowsills but I'm hoping no one minds too much. With my last purchases (and the one arriving soon, I believe that I am now finished collecting due to the eventual size some of the orchids and plants intend to get. So, here are the pictures:

You are never finished with orchids. You'll persuade yourself there's room for one more when you see one you really like. Nice collection, by the way and nice area for growing.

I have two aerides and a vanda as well as quite a few seedlings and saplings. In five years, there is going to be a jungle. Of course when the two 'chocolate' trees get larger, I might try mounting some shade-loving, warm-growing minis on them. That will be fun to haul to orchid shows....

Thanks, by the way.

Plenty more space on walls! That's where my future ones are headed. I need to figure out how to make nice-looking light fixtures for Ray's LEDs.

Your windows are very nice, but they remind me of many bungalows that have huge pine trees in the front yard, because those little trees looked so cute 50 years ago! Is that a phaius in photo #3? It will take over your home, you know...

Not a phaius. Maybe the zygo or cyncnoids? I nearly bought a few phaius as the flowers are really cool. Then I discovered how large they get. But, I have other things that will take over, don't worry.

I'm impressed and inspired by your ingenuity and use of space. Looking at your display, I realize I have more room left than I thought!
Nice, diverse collection of happy plants. What are your favorites to grow?

No idea how to pick a favorite.
I was very thrilled to find the theobroma cacao and cinnamon (verum) but I really love them all. Some of my plants have been with me over twenty years. By now, they are like old friends.
