In the big window (double glass doors), I have hanging a den aggregatum, a cyncnodes, and, soon, the two kingianums (still outside), all to ignore. The cattleya schroderae, angraecums, tuberlabium woodii, brassavolas, aerides, soph cernua, ascocentrum pumilum, podangis, laelia ancepts, and neos all get hit with a spray bottle until the roots turn green (usually every day) and, for a few, an occasional good watering with a watering can. I have a thick drop cloth underneath to prevent damage.
In the other window, I have catchpots and I just water them slowly to get the moss and lava rock wet. I take the various orchids down to check on them about once a month, if last winter is any indication. We have softened water, so the sink is not an option.
I don't spend much time caring for my plants (10 minutes, on average) but I do tend to them almost every day. It is a way to relax.
