Most of my orchids I keep at my mom's house. I'm slowly going to be moving my orchids in mom's back bedroom to my house. The two in the Kitchen will stay in the Kitchen.
I've already moved the orchid that had the worst root damage when I got it from lowes, I have it in my livingroom at my house. I'll be making sure the cats leave the orchids alone I'll be putting them on top of a tall shelf or two. I'll get an updated photo after they've all been moved.

Wanted to give my 5 Brassias a try on an East facing window sill, not sure how it may turn out, but we will see

As a windowsill gardener myself, I'm loving this thread, although I'm not happy to read about people's cats munching on the orchids... I have a cat who thinks my Christmas cactuses are tasty, I hope he doesn't decide to branch out! And both my kitties enjoy trimming the lower leaves of my dracaena. Maybe the hot pepper spray I bought would work better if I actually sprayed it on the plants!

Here's mine! Think it's a SW facing windowsill, in Johannesburg South Africa.
I have acquired a few more in the last 3 moths, as we do....
