Advice wanted. Cat attack

Hello, I have an orchid which I received as a gift. It grows in my window. Initially it was growing really well and flowering often, however, my cat accidentally knocked it off the window ad snapped a stem. Since then, it has not been flowering. I don't know if there is anything I can do, I don't think it is dead. I am using orchid water weekly to see if this helps. I have attached a photograph to see if this helps.

I can see nothing wrong with that plant caused by the feline mishap.

The remaining buds look like they are failing, but there are any number of reasons that can happen - a chill coming home from the store, being in the blast of a forced hot-air heater, a poorly maintained gas heater, excessively dry air, mites, ripening fruit in the area, or just some other sort of extreme stress.

I have no idea what “orchid water” is. Can you provide more details about it and the growing conditions?

I agree with what Ray said. The plant looks fine (no broken leaves) but the buds are drying up (often referred to as "blasted"). Just continue to care for it as you have been and it may begin to produce a branch spike or lengthen the existing spike and produce new buds after a short rest period. This is common behavior for Phalaenopsis orchids.

If the spikes begin to brown and dry up at the tips they are probably done for this bloom cycle.

Welcome to the Orchid Board! You say it has not flowered since the accident with the cat. How long has that been? The buds I see now are on their way out, but the plant looks perfectly healthy. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Give it proper care, and it will put out another spike with flowers when it's ready. Maybe you could explain to us what you mean by "orchid water"?
