Question OrchidsAmore

Who has purchased from them? And good, bad, indifferent? I see an orchid there I "need" at a great price. But haven't ordered from them before.

Tried using the search engine here, but wasn't getting anywhere. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I’ve never had anything shipped from them but I did pick up a few Dens and an oncidium from this vendor at a show a couple of years ago. I was really happy with them and they were very healthy in pretty fresh media.

I found Orchidsamore when I was searching for a "must have" orchid. I was so excited -- they have it in stock! I came to this thread looking for feedback on the vendor before I ordered. There's nothing here in this thread but I did find a few reviews on their Facebook page. Here's a link to the reviews.

OrchidsAmore

If the link doesn't work, google to their Facebook page and click the "reviews" tab. Also, apparently they are Pelican Coast Farms but their online store is Orchidsamore.com.

The reviews consist of 2 very recent ones describing experiences that are beyond ghastly!!! There are some older reviews that are very positive. Given the recent reviews, I will not be ordering from them.

My experience has been "eeeehhhh" with them. I purchased two orchids from them. One orchid was ok... I'd give the plant's general appearance and well being a 7/10. The other orchid was not in as great condition -- I'd give that one a 4/10.

Not the worst plants I've received from purchasing online, but overall disappointing. Not sure if I would order again from this vendor.

After researching a bit, I decided to pass on them.

They happened to have something I wanted. A Lot. Somehow I also got several other plants.

I actually used this thread as a reference 3 days ago when I ordered

I hope I should not have waited to touch base with a friend....yikes

I didn’t spend too much so if I have to fight and such I won’t be too mad

I dis notice they are only 2 hours from me so if I have to get “vocal” I can lol

Through a mask and 6’ away of course!

I have my fingers and toes crossed on your behalf. I hope things turn out well. Please let us know either way.

On the bright side, if you're close enough to them to go have a face-to-face (mask-to-mask?) discussion, at least they can't hang up on you.

i received my order today and, while i have not repotted or gotten deep with the plants, they came super fast, very professionally packed and in very good (apparent) health

i will report more once i 'dig in' and see below the surface but to get the items i ordered, safely and quickly, is a very good start for a mail order experience

Can you update us on your experience? I wanted to get some items from them.
Thanks,
