Don't think I would want to try growing anywhere else since they seems to want pretty bright light and moderate humidity. For me that is not possible outside the tank, so I wouldn't be interested in a pot. I would be interested in growing another type of Neo, but not under the terms you are discussing. Just to let you know, if curious. :)

Well, MY GAWD, Ross. . .I don't see how your mounted one could look any better or be any healthier! Your mounts are hands down the most beautiful with the live moss. And I have to say that your Neo roots are sooooo robust and healthy!

But how about trying something different? For instance, I've read, and am most interested to try, growing one on a rock with moss. . . .this can be done in a humid environment.

Just an idea.

I'm really interested my this mini project too! I'v been looking for an orchid to use with a rock I have. It's a good sized rock with a hollowed out spot that would be perfect for a chid. A neo would look great there!

It would be so fantastic to have everyone growing a Neo!! I'd love to see some mounted on rocks - and yes, Ross, a moss covered rock in your tank would be spectacular!!
