Well...received our order from Komoda today...

The plants all look very healthy and they were packed very nicely.

The three of us are meeting here tomorrow for a compot-splitting party so I haven't done anything with those yet but I did repot the Miltonia Maui Sunset and the Masd vargasii x Masd triangularis. The roots on both are perfect!!!

I will definitely think of this place next time I'm looking for a Masdie or a Milt. that has a shot of doing well here in the heat.

I spoke via email to Ivan Komoda a number of times prior to ordering and the entire process has been a pleasure.

They're in Hawaii. From what I read, their regular shipping isn't bad but for the month of March, they are waiving shipping costs for orders over $100.00 and only charging $10.00 for handling.

They have a LOT of Masdie hybrids, also Miltonia and a smaller section of Misc genus.

Take a look

Question

I'm dredging this thread back up cause I'm getting ready to put in an order. Here's what's on the list so far.

Glowing Embers
Copper Angel
Ken Dole
Redwing 'Rolfe' AM/AOS x princeps

My question is how big do these guys get? I know they're small now but as you all know space is an issue for me so need to know height, width etc. TIA

I've met the man before and been to his grow house. His material is amazing and he is and outstanding person. If I could grow his material outside down here I would fill a house with it.

I just got off the phone with Ivan. What a very nice helpful guy! He made some suggestions so here is my final order:

Masd. Angel Tears (red)
Masd. Angel Tang (yellow with lavender center)
Masd. Copper Angel (orange/copper)
Masd. Ken Dole (white with yellow center and tails)

They will ship out next week. I can hardly wait!
