Letstalkplants?

I haven't been able to find any feedback here on the ebay seller letstalkplants. Has anyone bought from them or do you have links to discussion about this seller?

I've never had any problem with them in several orders. They often have interesting stuff, and it is a seller I don't hesitate to order from. They can be a little short on communication, and be aware that some plants may be recent imports or new divisions that may not be fully established. They are usually clear about that.

I know I've ordered from them at least once. The fact that I don't really remember tells me that everything was fine.

I recently ordered from them and I had a few questions to ask. Tony was extremely helpful and very nice, we communicated a few times. He even sent me pictures in regards to plants I was interested in. I purchased two plants and they were packaged very well and shipped quickly. I had no complaints and I will definitely order from him again.

If you have a question, ask him. I found him a pleasure to buy from.

I've personally always avoided them because of their low feedback score.

I generally don't order from someone with less than ~99.4% feedback on ebay, preferably higher. I consider some with at least 99% if I deem the negative feedback left is from a bunch of people that didn't read descriptions or were otherwise... uneducated.

That's my opinion, but it seems a lot of people have had good experiences with him.

I have to agree with you on the feedback scores however as you mentioned a lot of neutral & negative feedbacks are from buyers not reading descriptions. I thought 98.9 feedback was worth a shot especially with the great communication I had with this seller. The plants I purchased came originally from Seed Engei and he spoke very highly of Satomi. I had recognized the tags and simply asked him.

I've been an eBay buyer for 17 years and if I've learned one thing besides importance of feedback scores, I've learned communication is important, at least to me. If I'm in doubt, I ask questions. If they reply quickly and honestly with details or in this case, additional pictures I'm going to give that seller a try.

My experience was positive and I would buy from him again.

I actually happen to agree with you. Generally, I don't even both giving vendors with less than 99% a second look but, because of this thread, I took a peak at letstalkplants and saw something pretty revealing. Most of the negatives are from a handful of people with multiple purchases. The neutral feedback is pretty clearly from someone who doesn't understand ebay feedback (written feedback was positive, but they chose "neutral" for some reason).

I've used eBay of and on for a lot of years as well and I've learned something here. I've likely missed out on some nice plants because I didn't dig a little.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Yes, I too was concerned about his feedback score, but as noted, on reading the feedback comments the low score looks to be unjustified.

This seller has a lot of nice looking plants at great prices, but was a little leery about bidding since there was no vendor feedback here. I'm glad to know about all the positive experiences with this seller and now feel comfortable about trying him.

I visit the greenhouse and have purchased multiple plants in person. Since I'm local, I don't buy from them on eBay. Tony and Chris are wonderful, super helpful, and knowledgeable. I was just there this past Saturday and bought another plant. If you're in the Bay Area, I'd highly recommend visiting The Tiny Jungle. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him.
