I placed an order with Orchids by Hausermann on January 17 of this year, when their Web site suggested they might be able to ship. I was really taken by all the mini Phals members posted, and right now Hausermann's has lots and lots of Phals on their Web site. And Paphs, including Paph vietnamense.

Shipping didn't work when I placed the order, due to weather, so I waited. Their open house is this weekend and next, and they announced there would be no shipping until March 6, but... I got a shipping announcement last Monday!

The plants arrived Thursday the 23rd. Wow! Peanut helped me unwrap them. (She came billed as a Miniature Schnauzer but she's a long-haired Chihuahua.)

It's too dark to take photos now, but some are in much bigger pots than I ordered, and some are in spike or bloom. I ordered an Angraecum leonis in a 3" pot. It came in a 5" pot with two tight spikes. I ordered a Cattleya mossiae 'Willowbrook' FCC/AOS in a 3" pot. It came in a 7" pot with two buds.

A while ago somebody was unhappy with the Coelogyne mayeriana they got from Hausermann's on sale. I ordered the same sale plant. It arrived in a 5" pot, making 2 new growths. It may be two pieces in the same pot, but it is a big, healthy plant.

I'm again very happy with my Hausermann's order.

Congratulations on a great order! I have bought quite a few orchids from them, including one of my Angraecum leonis. Their prices are quite good for the quality that they offer. Good luck with your new orchids!

I emailed them an order due to our weather and will pick it up tomorrow. I know I'll find a couple other things too. I always have success with them ( mistakes are my fault). I want to try Natt's next trip.

Btw, Peanut is adorable ( he looks just like one of my snow boots with eyes). High praise from a cat lover.

Nearly 42 years ago my first 5 orchids came in a mail order from Hausermann's. Over the years they have rarely disappointed, every business will have a glitch or a slip-up sometime, but they always corrected any problem. Glad to hear they still come through on both plants and service.

No hesitation recommending Natt's either.

Good luck with the new plants!

I've purchased plants from Hausermann's for at least 20 or 25 years - in fact, I'm pretty sure that my first order was filled out with pen and sent through the US Mail! There are 4 sellers I consider my "go-to sources" and Hausermann is one of those.

I went today. I picked up my email order and was able scratch a few more things off my want list. Pictures later.
Everything was gorgeous! They were super nice to my being a problem child with two orders. But, wow! Most of the place was Phals and Catts. Beautiful. I was determined not to buy any and managed to resist. Just excellent all the way around.

I did not take pictures. Maybe next time. There is a "show room" with large blooming plants and a display wall. The next room is a species room ( not colorful). Then the shopping area with some displays, which due to the open house were depleted. The real color (and not of interest to me) lies in the rooms upon rooms of Phals and Catts, mostly enormous plants. I am not good with a camera and while beautiful, my success with Catts was dismal (too little patience I hear) and I am way over budget on Phals. However, I am planning a visit to Natts and I will attempt pics there.
