Fake Habenaria seeds online?
A friend wrote me that another friend sent her some White Dove Flower seeds, Habenaria radiata.
I don't think they are orchid seeds.
I've never seen seeds from any orchids related to Habenaria. If somebody can confirm these are not Habenaria radiata seeds, I will post the vendor and details here for all the world to see.

Ask Troy Meyers. Looks like he has attempted flasking them in the past.

Online seed vendors, especially chinese ones, try to fake their seeds and lure in people using photoshop and collages of web images. They also use honeypot words like bonsai, rare, limited, etc. This happens not just to orchids, they happen on all types of plants. Try searching orchid on aliexpress to see what I mean.
Back to the seeds, people usually sell corms or bulbs. These look fake, because to my knowledge the seeds are brown, not black. Try planting them though. Fake seeds are usually Baby's Breath or Dragonfruit. You might get the latter.

Only know the seeds of Habenaria tridactylites, our local species, and it is dust-fine, clear brown. Sorry, I don't have any photograph.

Pretty certain they are fake. Having grown orchids from seed, into at least seedlings, those black specks are not orchid seeds.
