I think you're correct, it seems deceiving to me. I buy quite a bit on eBay though never from this seller. I would do the " ask seller a question " and ask ALL about this plant. I would also be sure to ask, if not stated, if this is the exact plant for sale.
Deceptive listings really pizz me off, I then make a huge pain of myself with a lot of questions. What kind of feedback does this seller have I wonder?

Can you link the actual listing? I think this vendor has had complaints before.
Many vendors post pics with the disclaimer, "not the exact plant" or the like. It pays to read the fine print on listings. I've received "not the exact plant" and have been very happy. I won't buy a hybrid without the actual bloom pic. Do your homework on the vendors is all I can add.

I just did a Google search and they have an eBay store, their feedback is 100%. I'll have to go look at their listings.

Or, it was in bloom when the pic was taken and it didn't previously sell and it's being resisted w/out an updated pic. Just using the old pic to relist...cropped so as not to show flowers.
I would like to think that most sellers on ebay are honest people just trying to make some money. If the description is given then it's on the buyer to actually read it. I know I read all descriptions and I don't buy plants that don't have them. And, as stated, if not the actual plant pic'd, I ask questions.

Most vendors we all order from and trust do not show the plant you are buying, usually it is a bloom picture. This used to drive me crazy! I want to see the plant if possible but that is not usually the case.
There are a lot of good, honest eBay sellers and I buy from them often. Some of my favorite vendors sell on eBay as well. Andy's sells on Amazon.

Their feedback is 4303 with a handful of neutrals, no negatives.
