Default Bragging about The Orchid Works

My orchid society has now placed two orders with The Orchid Works: The Orchid Works They are a Hawaii-based wholesale oncidium plug producer. But you can order individual plants from their awesome mailing list, which they send out weekly.

First of all, the prices are just fantastic. They have some interesting species and hybrids. And, for the most part, the plants are large and beautiful. I've attached a few images for reference.

Phalaenopsis tetraspis 'Jiaho Red' x sib - 3.5": $11
Phalaenopsis violacea 'Red' x self - in bud - 3.5": $8
Encyclea cochleata - 2.5": $7
Miltassia Estrelita 'Sweet Senorita' plugs (three in spike): five for $5
Miltassia Charles M. Fitch 'Izumi' AM/AOS - 3.5", 2 spikes and over 50 pseudobulb: $8.50

They have an impressive virus testing policy, and they have been very responsive when we've had concerns or order mix-ups. For example, when my phal violacea opened up with streaks in the flower, they immediately tested five of the orchids from the same batch and let me know that those checked out negative for viruses.

So, sign up for their mailing list and take a look!

I second your review; they have a great list every week and Rayna is always willing to go the extra bit to make sure everything is well and good.
