I have 2 mounted ones from them bought last yr at a show,Pomatocalpa spicata and Thrixspermum trichoglottis, doing quite well for me. They take almost Vanda conditions buy small enuf to fit under my lights and easy to take to the sink and water. The Thrix. blooms almost continuously but I've had nothing yet on the other. At shows their inventory is large and the fellow(s) is very nice and informative.

I would not recommend OLSO to most beginners. If you have a few rescues under your belt, go for it. They have great prices but if you want something that is readily available, go elsewhere and pay a little more. Lower your expectations because you're not going to get a prettily presented plant. Their growing methods and conditions make it hard to transition to home-growing in the US.
I have a relatively hight mortality rate with their plants but will continue to purchase from them because they are the sole source for many species. I also prefer to buy from them at shows so I can inspect the plants.

Can a mod/admin move this to the Vendors' forum?

Most of the plants I bought recently are imports, and I got plants from them 2-3 times. I have more tough time getting their plants acclimated than other foreign vendors. Some of them are bigger than you expect (e.g. Paphs), but others could be smaller than you expect from other foreign vendors. They have interesting plants, so it's worth trying though. They communicate pretty well, and good experience overall. But as Anonymouse said, you have to have a different expectation.

I picked up a large order from them at a show a few years ago, and everything was healthy. Didn't lose a single plant.

You are good, Ray! For me, Malala plants seem to have higher survival rates than Ooi (but I guess it isn't a fair comparison).

I bought two Paphs from them in January, they're still doing well and both have new growth. I'd love to hear more about people's experiences with them

I've bought a couple of plants from them at a show when they were in the UK. I was pleased with the plants, but I did get to see what I was buying in advance.

I just received 2 plants from them today, a Bulbophyllum dearei and a Coelogyne edoardii. Both are mounted and are the plant pictured. Communication was excellent, the shipping quick and the packing excellent. A good experience overall, time will tell how the plants adapt.
