Hey everyone!

I ordered an orchid from this vendor - a cattleya cherry song - and it arrived to me with an infection of some sort in the leaf.

I was worried about it, and I treated the area and messaged the vendor with a picture. The entire leaf was mushy brown/orange!! The vendor offered me care advice and said to keep them informed if the plant got worse.

The plant had some more black spotting and a few more leaves turning, and I messaged them again. They offered me an immediate refund or replacement plant, and I requested the refund.

The plant would have been perfect if not for having that rot issue (which I believe might've been erwinia / brown soft rot). It arrived quickly, the blooms were in great condition, the plant was well established in the pot and potted well.

It's too bad that the plant arrived sick- in the pictures of the exact available plants on ebay, they were all healthy looking, but you know how quickly a rotting issue can take hold!!

All in all, I would buy from this vendor again. They were super fast to respond and very friendly when I told them about my issue. Wonderful - even if I didn't get a plant in the end.

Things can easily and quickly go wrong in the dark warm box with no breeze.

This is a very good vendor, I order from them many items--plants and supplies. The have excellent customer service. Too bad the plant suffered damage in transit.
