I ordered the orchid from The Orchid Gallery, now I'm excited. It was a buy it now so no bidding, thankfully. I have been an Ebayer for years and collect antique miniature kerosene/oil lamps. I have been caught up in bidding sooo many times and it is nerve racking! And I'm a terrible sport when I get out bid at the last minute.
I have purchased from orchidblaine and always been happy with him. I found a very nice tiny orchid on eBay listed by a member here and it is one of my favorite little plants. The seller was awesome. I've bought from Peter Lin on eBay and a wonderful lady from Washington, I believe. She is Wiredgrower on eBay and has very nice plants. Mostly miniatures that are hard to find. I've bought several times from her, her prices are good and she is a sweetheart to buy from.
I will post pictures when my new plant arrives. It is a Miltoniopsis Andrea West. Exciting!

You can always get something not so great from any one, but if the review is great, why not?
I find that they have a good customer service and very communicative, but I did not like the state of the plants I got from them.
They were willing to refund, but I decided to keep them plants.
I would go by the reviews and the pictures of the plant offered. Most of the time, you will be happy.

They occasionally come to our shows and have excellent plants. They usually have very nice cool growers like the Lycaste and Miltoniopsis.

Thank you all for feedback on the Orchid Gallery. The tracking info shows out for delivery so it is a day ahead of schedule. I will let you know how my order goes, how great the plant is.

The Miltoniopsis Andrea West arrived safe and healthy today from The Orchid Gallery. It is a big plant, 5 large bulbs and 2 smaller ones. It is in a 4 inch pot and needs a larger pot very soon. There are 4 spikes and they are small enough that they should continue to develop fine and have beautiful blooms. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone.

That's excellent, 4 spikes! I've ordered from them as well and was happy. Good buy, you will have a beautiful show here in the next couple months.
Stray and others, ebay is definitely a dangerous place especially when you're an orchid addict. I've bought more off ebay than elsewhere I'm pretty sure...just won an auction when I uh, uh...swore I was done buying...until Fall shows...don't check ebay AT ALL if you're trying to get on the wagon...The wagon will leave you.

I wanted to add a quick update rather than starting a new thread. My Andrea West is blooming her beautiful head off. I really like the pale yellow blooms, so soft. Please excuse the kitchen clutter.

That miltoniopsis is huge!!! It's lovely. My Miltoniopsis I got from them last year is in spike along with Ascocentrum apullaceum in spike I purchased from them! I can't wait for them to bloom.

Huge? I have my first orchid ever, it is a Miltoniopsis Bert Fields and it is a much bigger plant. I really love them both but this pale yellow is gorgeous. There are still several buds to open. Oh and thank you!
