I know most of you have purchased from this vendor before, but I just had to say how thoroughly impressed I was. I've purchased orchids from many different nurseries. I don't discount their credibility in any way, I've had many good experiences. Andy's orchids, however, has stood out in a different way.

They actually called me to see how my plants were doing. Asked me if they could help in any way, and if I ever needed cultural tips they would be more than happy to help.

This says a lot about a nursery. No other nursery, or seller, has cared enough to ever call and ask about the plants they sold me. This really shows how much Andy's cares about their plants. It may seem like a small thing, but just think about how much business Andy's gets, and then to take time to call.

I will definitely be purchasing from them in the future. I only wish I could go visit them at an orchid show to buy in person, but my area sucks for orchid shows.

If only all businesses had this type of customer service. Andy's stands above any other I have purchase from as well. He may not always have a plant I am looking for but I check his inventory first, always. I have not had a bad experience from any vendors but Andy's has called me several times in regards to an order, top notch customer service. His plants in my opinion, are usually bigger, more mature than others. I'm certainly happy to shop with him.

I would love to visit his greenhouses!

I love andy's! His mounted orchids are the best! Always thick healthy roots with green tips. And most of the mounted orchids I have bought from him have gone into spike a few months after I got them! A real top notch place! And the customer service is exceptional

I love Andy's too! It has been very cold here in Ohio and they had these wonderful sales that I could not resist. They would call to make certain I would be home to receive the package and then packed everything so very well that the plants arrived in perfect condition.

Andy's is my first call on any species orchid I want. Their website lists only a fraction of what they have, and they're always willing to take the time to help over the phone.

That's the shame with most orchid nurseries. They don't list everything they have. For people purchasing out of state, it sucks. I can't make a trip out to California to see Andy's stock, which I'm sure is amazing!

I am going to order something from them when the weather gets better. Good to know about their service and plants.

Had his bro Harry come to talk at our society mtg 2 yrs ago. Very personable and a head full of orchid matter. Seek him out for talks and you won't be disappointed. Haven't been able to grow all that I've ordered from them...shame on me!

One of my favorites...awesome people!! Even though I've been ordering from them for years...they still call a couple/few weeks after the order to make sure all is good. It's one of only 2 places my husband ever orders from for me...and it's his favorite too. He's even on their email list.

If it's a species and you don't see it on their site...call. If they don't know right away whether or not they have whatever it is you're looking for...they are always happy to go and check.

I've never been to Andy's in person (maybe some day though!) but I've heard it's amazing and I can only guess that it's likely a bear to stay on top of what may or may not be available. Just a guess. Either way...don't ever hesitate to call and ask. I can't say enough good things about them.

If you're weak, stay away from Andy-in-person. I had no plans of buying anything from him this last show but walked away with 5 new plants-two of which are probably beyond my capability.
