Yeah, even though I really like both of the plants I got from him, it was still disappointing when they bloomed and they weren't what I was expecting. It took each one about two years after I bought it to bloom for the first time, so for two years, I cared for each of those plants, looking forward to their first bloom, and then the day finally arrived, even though they were beautiful, they weren't what I thought I was getting and it was a little disappointing. I posted about both of them when they bloomed, and if you care to see the threads they are here:

They Cattleya lueddemanniana that I ended up with from him is probably a nicer plant than the one I thought I was buying, but I really wanted the other one to be percivaliana. I've already found a Cattleya percivaliana 'Summit' from a reputable nursery, but it is young, and I will probably have to wait another two years for it to bloom.
