Judith, if I am not mistaken, it usually does say in the description when is the orchid expected to be shipped, some are available immediately, some says the shipping date. The reason is, when they get imports, they DO NOT SELL AND SHIP them immediately, to make a quick buck, like some other sellers do! They actually do keep them for some month to make sure they are fine after the import and establish little bit. I know it may be little frustrating to wait, however, after doing many direct imports when plants arrive great shape and die within 24-48 hours, it is much better for buyer when seller makes sure the plant is actually ok. Just my opinion :-)

Tommy, you are not mistaken The plants did have a 'shipping after' date but ended up 'back ordered' (Seattle Orchid's words, not mine). I contacted them a few days after shipment was expected and was dismayed to learn of the delay because I'm an impatient person in general but I have zero complaints about any of the plants I received and the delay was less than 2 weeks. All are doing well-the slc memoria Alvin Beggman 'poem' is in sheath with a shadow of buds growing ever so slowly I'm a happy customer and if I needed to, I would def buy from them again...

:-) Great. Hope you did sign for the reward program, it is not much, but sometimes better than nothing to get some $5 discount :-)

I didn't know about the rewords program either. I have ordered from them twice and am very happy with them. The first time my phrag that looked good when it came ended up with some damage to the top of the plant. They didn't charge me for shipping and I can say it put up a new growth and it is now as big as the one I was sent.
So it is doing good. Will order from them again.

I have ordered from them previously under the other name as I believe they are still affiliated with Incredible Orchids (someone correct me if this is no longer the case).
The only problem that I have with both of them is that they sometimes put the ruler farther back from the plant. This makes the optical illusion that the plant is larger in the picture.
I have noticed that they have improved the placement recently, but I still see some that are clearly too far in front of the ruler for proper measuring.
