Andy's Orchids--Great Cyber Monday order
Hi all--
Just got my Cyber Monday order yesterday from Andy's Orchids and couldn't be more pleased. Great company to work with, their customer service is top notch, and the plants were superbly packed and boxed.
I ordered the following: Angraecum didieri, Dens canaliculatum, kingianum (looks like a different form than the one I already have--COOL!), loddigesii, parishii, Haraella odorata, Maxillaria hennisiana (shepheardii), and Onc/Milt fuscatum /warscewiczii. Andy's included a nice shorthand cultur sheet as part of their order invoice which makes a handy reference for newbies like me.
Definitely will order from them again once I save up some more money.

I'm in Ohio, so don't know if that made a difference or not...Also, they recommended overnight shipping since we have a storm moving in and they didn't want the shipment delayed. It only cost me an extra $7.50 and I figured it was worth it.
The plants I got were great, so I'm sure that it will be worth the wait!

Thank you, Leafmite. I hope to be able to grow and bloom them--we'll see!
Tommy--I think I'm jealous of your weather--light snow here, temps around freezing, and supposed be be close to zero tomorrow night. Hope your order comes today for you!
BTW, every one of the orchids I bought is fragrant, and I tried to pick fall/winter/spring bloomers to brighten uo the drab Ohio winters we get....

The haraella will bloom and bloom and bloom!
The didieri is amazing.
A really good, very fragrant, winter bloomer is Brassavola Little Stars 'Yasuji Takaeki'. It starts blooming around the middle of December for me and lasts until March. Two and a half months of nightly fragrance.

I also received my cyber-monday order yesterday. The orchids all look great, as always. Fast shipping, nicely packed. Good quality.

Mine came yesterday like they said : A Dracula lotax and Oncidium hastatum. Both happy plants. I ordered on Saturday for the Black Friday special. Maybe, hopefully, they had lots of orders and things took longer to ship out
