Big Leaf Orchids?
Has anyone ordered from Big Leaf Orchids before, and if so, how did you feel about your transaction? If you'd feel more comfortable with PM'ing me, I'll understand.
Thanks!

Simply the best for Phals! And Peter Lin is more skilled at packing plants for shipping than just about anyone on earth. He sells both imported plants and his own novelty crosses.
It's a good idea to sign up for his Phalaenopsis discussion board as well. Once you've made a purchase, you can ask him to add you for access to the customers only section.

I have ordered from Peter before. He has a lot of hybrids that he imports from Asia, you can't get them anywhere else! I will say though, that sometimes His plants aren't the largest.

That's okay! I'm actually wanting smaller plants. As long as they will bloom within a year of my adopting them, I think that would work for me. I don't have a boatload of grow space right now as I'm still figuring out where my best indoor grow spaces are, so smaller plants would suit me for the time being.
Would you recommend these hybrids to a beginner? Any special care notes that are different from other phals?

Peter is the best. Feel free to ask him any questions you have and what I really like is he has pictures of the plants for sale.

I agree, Peter is a great vendor. Often the plants are larger than I expected, so you just never know. Even the small ones seem vigorous, so I wouldn't worry.

Okay! You've given me confidence! I've been feeling a little concerned about mail ordering orchids. I'll email him my remaining questions! Thanks guys! You're the best!

Peter/BLO is one of the best.
He has pics of the plants he's offering along with a description on pot size, Leaf span, often what the hybridizer expects the blooms to look like and sometimes there are pic of what has already bloomed out of the cross. Generally what you see is what you get and often times better.
Don't think I've ever had a shipping problem and if I had he would have taken care of it right away.
He's on my short list of "trusted sellers".
