Default Andy's Order

I just made an order from Andy's for several orchids. At this point all I can really comment on is the service I've received which has been top notch to say the least. I asked a question regarding selecting the proper orchids for my setup, and quickly received a reply in which Andy asked for photos of my setup and my contact # so we could discuss it. And then there's his amazing website! As it turns out that a fish buddy is an old hand with orchids, so he guided me with my selections which I ordered yesterday. The order consisted of a Haraella odorata, a Schoenorchis fragrans, a Neofinetia falcata, an Aerangis citrata, and an Aerides japonica. They're due to arrive Friday, so I'll update on the plants themselves and the shipping then. But so far, so great!

Awesome! The limited dealings I have had with Andy's (orchid shows only) - they have been exceptionally helpful!

I'm sure you will be very happy with your orchids! I got an Aerangis citrata from Andy's last summer, and I just love it!

Just finished unpacking my order. Figure I'll start with the bad news. The Aerangis citrata didn't have a tag on it. Ok now the good news. Said Aerangis is in spike, as are the Haraella and the Neofinetia! All plants look great and are very well established on their mounts. I did notice a few hitchhikers in the way of bugs but the plants are outside for the rest of the summer, and compared to some of the hitchhikers I've picked up in my reef tanks these were nothing. Considering the outstanding customer service ad the plants that were delivered, dealing with Andy's was all in all a very pleasurable experience which I would heartily recommend!

My very first order from them was for the Vanda coerulea 4 years ago. It arrived well packed and the plant was happy and healthy with pencil thick roots; Andy personally called me on my cell to inquire about its status upon arrival and he discussed at length regarding its culture and since it was mounted he also gave me tips on how to water and fertilizer the plant in my windowsill.
Andy's is reliable, trustworthy and the kindest man I have ever talked to on the phone.

I have ordered many times from Andy and I have never had problems. They also call months later to ask how the plants are doing and if you need any help with them. I also visited his nursery last summer. He talked with me and my mom for three and a half hours. It was a lot of fun and he is very knowledgable! He grows everything outdoors or in greenhouses. That's weird your one plant didn't have a tag. They print new ones out when they ship them. I'm glad your happy with your order. He also is having a nice discount on all plants this month. Also, he only lists about 15% of his orchid stock online so if you are looking for something not listed, give him a call or send him an email and he will usually have it.

I love Andy's tags. All the culture info right there.
