Visit to Parkside Orchid Nursery
I visited Parkside Orchid Nursery on Monday. It was a nice day for a drive (about an hour and twenty minutes each way for me). I would have spent more time looking around, taken better pictures and jotted down names of plants, but I had to make sure I would be back in time for the school bus.
I asked them if it was okay to take pictures to share here and they said yes. Enjoy the pictures. Sorry they aren't of better quality or more of them...rush job, but wanted to share

Hi Judi,
Drove all that way...well looking wasn't enough , ten .
Just got my Carter and Holmes b-day present order, now this and another order yesterday. I need Orchids Anonymous. There are a couple of other specific plants I want and then I will stop...well until the Shore Orchid Festival anyway. I have orders with a couple of vendors on a wish list too .
I have to laugh at myself. I have been saving up cash for silk drapes for my dining room and just used the money to purchase two tables from Ballard Designs to put in front of a triple window in my family room to house my 'chids. I guess I need to sort more of my kids old things to sell on e-bay for the drapes or orchids...

I knew there would be some, but 10?? And C&H plus MORE yesterday??
It seems no matter how hard we try not to sometimes, we spend that extra cash on more chids!
Someone should call and tell your kids to hide all their stuff!

I know Judi, I am embarassed to type it and can't even say it out loud. I had surgery a little over a month ago, my Mom has been really ill and went back into the hospital yesterday with blood clots (after burns and surgeries). I have been stressed and I guess this is better than eating through the stress altough exercising would be better
I got rid of several orchids recently due to positive virus testing...supermarket purchases and some from growers. I wanted to replace them and obviously got carried away.
Lol, they don't need to worry, just the old stuff that they outgrew

Good job. Who needs drapes, the plants will fill the windows and double as curtains

So, here are the pictures. I just took them. Ignore the wrapping paper covered tray table. My daughter did that for my birthday
