Parkside is one of the numerous vendors at the SEPOS Show in Philadelphia through Sunday, by the way.

Yes, they were getting ready when I visited. I knew that unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to attend, so I drove to them. Do they have a lot of plants for sale?

Yes, they do. What's more the selection of vendors overall is awesome.

Looks like you have some species creeping into your collection. Good for you! The Phal. mannii is very cute.

Thank you. Yes, I have been wanting some species phals. I hope I get them to grow and thrive. I should have started with one. Hopefully, I don't kill them. I am hoping they aren't too touchy. The person I spoke to in the greenhouse said that if you can grow a hybrid you can grow a species in the same conditions. I was worried that some of them are warm growing. I explained that my house is in the sixty-eight degree range during the day in the Winter and sixty-six at night. During the Summer my husband tends to keep the house warm at seventh-seven degrees. He said they should do fine with that. Fingers crossed

Phal. mannii is very easy to grow and bloom. Bastianii I have found to be slow growing and will not bloom. Cornu-cervi grows well and blooms well for me. Don't cut the spikes off of this one as it can bloom forever off an existing spike. Someone told me they tend to sulk when repotted but I did not have that experience.
