Ruben in Orchids Ebay sales
This is not a complaint - yet. I recently placed an order for eight plants on Ebay with Ruben in Orchids, had a problem with getting an updated invoice. Basically, I committed to buy the plants, but ebay was going to charge me for the shipping for each plant. I notified the seller on ebay, then emailed the vendor, asking for clarification. I haven't heard back. So does anyone know if Dr Sauleda is out of town or what? He doesn't answer his phone, either. anybody know anything about this vendor's whereabouts? His plants look really healthy and I would really like to complete the transaction.

I've heard good things about this seller. Hopefully someone has some helpful info for you, and everything gets resolved satisfactorily.

Thanks Steve, I already did that. I sent him an updated order, since I couldn't be sure which plants made it through the buying confirmation process on ebay. Now I'm just waiting to see if he'll contact me. Earlier in the week, I had tried to place an order with him on ebay, but got no response, and since he was offering a c. skinneri alba, which I really wanted, I placed the order and paid for it. As one friend used to say"it's a luxury problem, don't worry about it". Heh. He'll contact me, or he won't.

Luxury problem! I've never heard of that but it made me laugh! Anyway, he usually gets back to me in a day or two, so I wouldn't worry about it. Let us know how it all turns out though.

Definitely! I got a Catt. walkeriana in the mail yesterday from him and the plant is perfectly grown.

Sorry for the delay in following up on this. I did get the plants from Ruben. Four (of nine) plants, though in good shape themselves, the roots were not in good shape at all. That annoyed me, but I decided to see if they would improve. two have and two have not. The other plants are beautiful and well-grown. All in all, I'm happy with the plants. I have faith that they will all thrive.

Hi Davidcee,
Contact him again. Ruben is very nice and will get it right. He sent me the wrong one by accident and sent the replacement immediately and told me to keep the other one. Also, his flasks are GREAT! Everything I have purchased from him has been well grown and thriving.
