He mentioned that the large order (200 or so) was for Mesker - I have fond memories of Mesker Ampitheater concerts!!
I am not sure what they ordered, he just mentioned this.
Yes, with the new additions of Erich's the variety is astounding. I haven't checked the website in several months and even then it was not representative of their inventory. Am not sure if he does the website updates or not, but he does not strike me as a computer addict (like some of us - me included). I hope this changes, but time will tell.
Well worth the trip if you live within a few hours of Indianapolis - or further for that matter!
It makes me wonder about other Orchid sites - Hausermann's has a really nice site, but it is hard to judge their inventory from that, and they have a huge inventory. Many plants in their greenhouse never make it to the site, so again, not a good gauge to judge by; you just have to be there yourself to see firsthand.

Hello everyone -
This is the last of my Hilltop Orchid photos - I promise!!
Next trip I will take more and will post a few driectly to OB (to wet your appetite!!) then post a URL to Photobucket so that I can download all of them at once and not have to use several posts to do so; Or I may just post a video of the greenhouses, not sure about this. Sorry I did not get names for the pics, I would have taken a lot of notes to get them all, but the Red Phalae's are all siblings of a cross that Dick made and it has won several awards - will get name later - I want one really bad, but the sibs in bloom which were for sale were not to my liking, but several will be blooming yet and I will get one eventually.
Enjoy these - as I say - I will get more next Tuesday or Friday - either coming or going from my parent's home. The inventory changes so often due to the large orders he is sending out, that each trip is a new experience.
